Firefighting - Advanced
In this four-day course, students learn firefighting command decision-making responsibilities and coordination when fighting a fire aboard a ship. One day of practical training gives the students hands-on experience and confidence to fight real fires using methods taught in class. This course is designed to satisfy the Coast Guard requirements for original and license upgrades per CFR Title 46, Parts 10.205(g) and 10.207(f) as well as STCW '95 Chapter VI, Section A-VI/3 and Table A-VI/3. |
