This course is designed for officers in charge of Navy Security Forces, all E5 and above personnel and those below E5 who have successfully completed the Master-at-Arms Basic course.  The course will prepare the student to take the rate advancement exam and perform the advanced duties of a Master-at-Arms.  Topics of study include: understanding the advancement process; exam preparation; Navy regulations (SORM, NAVREGS, MCM, JAGMAN, & UCMJ); military customs inspection procedures; legal issues; personnel and information security; shipboard duties; practical exercises in shipboard security tactics and counter terrorism; anti-terrorist tactics afloat and ashore; and management & supervision of security forces.
