This course examines the domestic and world wide commercial freight transportation system with an emphasis on international intermodal surface transportation.  Modal/intermodal economic and operating characteristics are surveyed along with cost, pricing, and regulation of transportation services.  In addition, students are introduced to current computer software applications used by the commercial transportation managers.
