This Marine Refrigeration Certification course allows students to be certified under the Environmental Protection Agency guidelines.  Type I, Type II and Universal Technician Certification as defined by 40 CFR 82.161.  A Universal Certification will allow the holder to purchase and work with all types of refrigerants.  The course examination is developed by the Air Conditioning Contractors Association (A.C.C.A.) and the Ferris State University Technology Transfer Center (F.S.U.T.T.C.).  The course will refresh current refrigeration principles and cover refrigeration recovery, recycling, and proper refrigerant charging methods.
