Teaching Philosophy
The Global Maritime and Transportation School (GMATS) utilizes hundreds of guest lecturers and experts from the maritime and transportation industry including those from government, military, private-sector organizations, and leading academic institutions.
In addition, GMATS Classroom lecture and discussion are augmented as much as possible by practicing “hands-on” training. Whether using the excellent nautical science and engineering simulators, laboratories, waterfront vessels and equipment, or visiting intermodal transportation facilities in the Port of New York/New Jersey, the Global Maritime and Transportation School students are exposed to the best education and training available.
