GMATS is partnered with Carlisle Maritime Group™(CMG) to provide the practical portion of the first National Maritime Center (NMC) certification approved, STCW Management Level online course, Ship Management and Emergency Response. This course is specifically designed for Management Level mariners wishing to earn a Chief Mate/Master license and STCW; however, anyone interested in maritime ship management can take this course.
Trainees take this “blended” course online, from anywhere, at their own pace (9 months to complete), and once they are ready attend a one-day face-to-face assessment and final written examination at a partnering facility. Upon completion of the one-day visit CMG issues the Certificate of Completion. This certificate will be honored by any REC towards the issuance of a STCW license.
CMG’s courses are on an encrypted, SCORM-compliant Learning Management System (LMS) and compared to the classroom version this online course is roughly 1/3 of the price.
